Grateful

The Thanksgiving Day crew. Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow…

It’s Thanksgiving and I feel a little cliche coming on. Sometimes I see athletes frustrated with themselves. Frustrated with their times, performances, movements, learning curve. It is good to always push one’s self, always strive to be faster stronger better, but it is also good to step back and realize what you are doing. Take joy in your body, in your movement, in all the complex and incredible things that you can do. Take joy in the fact that you can do CrossFit, regardless of your times or performances. There is always something to be grateful for. A cliche, yes, but it is also true.

1 Clean and Jerk on the minute for 20 minutes. 90% 1RM
