Bodyweight Back Squat

9 and 10am

CF West Santa Cruz did a classic test of strength today—max reps back squat at bodyweight. Load the bar with your bodyweight and squat it for as many repetitions as you can without reracking or dropping the bar. And then we rested for 5 minutes and did it again.

Among the men, Chris C took home top honors with a huge 50 reps. He managed 25 on his second attempt for 75 total reps in two attempts. Brad S got 45 reps and Jason N 37 reps on their first sets. A special mention goes out to Kevin C who got 31 on his first attempt and came back hard for his second attempt with 32 reps.

Among the women, it was a two-way tie for first place. Both Alicia P and Brooke got 25 reps. Brooke made it to the low twenties with her second attempt as well.
