Community Starts At The Top

I was talking to Curtis F, co-owner of CrossFit Atascadero, this last weekend and he had a great story. A while ago, Curtis was eating breakfast with a friend at a cafe in SLO and Greg Glassman walked by. Curtis stood up to say hello and they chatted for a few minutes. When Curtis and his friend went to leave, they found that Coach had paid their bill and tipped the server $100.

It may be a grass-roots movement, but in CrossFit, community certainly starts at the top.
