One cannot be fit without being strong. Our new Barbell Club is for anyone interested in building their basic strength skills for more success in our regular CrossFit classes or those eager to push past a personal record. Attending this class is a simple and effective way to gain strength, and is intended to supplement our primary program, not replace it. This class focuses on getting athletes stronger in the squat, press, deadlift, bench press, and more.
The Barbell Club meets twice a week, Tue/Thu at 6:30 pm
First class session-Jan. 9, 2014 (Thursday)
Please email Leah to sign up ([email protected]). Include your current back squat, strict press, deadlift, and bench press maxes, as well as your goal in strength training. Leah, a competitive powerlifter and national record holder in the squat and total (she’s a pretty nice person too), will be leading all the classes.
This is a 6 week strength program and participants should be committed to regular attendance.
