Fitness Challenge and New Schedule

CrossFit West Santa Cruz is holding the second of its monthly fitness challenges this Saturday, the 4th, at Gold’s Gym. All are welcome. October’s challenge focuses more on strength with the front squat and the weighted pullup. Each athlete will have 3 lifts in each exercise. Their highest score for each exercise are added together for their final score. For example, a 200# front squat and a 50# pullup make a final score of 250. Highest score wins. The top of the thigh must be at least parallel to the ground on the front squat and the chin must be fully over the bar and the arms extended at the start of the movement on the pullup. No chicken necking! Any grip or pullup style is ok. Please come out, cheer the lifters on, and support CFWSC.
