9am Crew on Thursday!

It’s official – we just had the hottest July on record – EVER.  Training in the heat can be tough – trust me, I know.  It’s been around 90 at my house up in Happy Valley everyday.  On the days I stay home, if I don’t get my training done by 9am, it becomes almost harder and harder by the hour.  What do I recommend?  First and foremost, train, you won’t regret it.  Work a schedule that works best for you.  If you need to avoid the heat, don’t come to 12pm class!  But commit, and if you need to, commit to swimming, showers, or something else after to handle the heat.  Above all, find out how to enjoy it – revel in your sweat, call it Bikram CrossFit, do what you need to do.  But train.  It might be hard to start, but once you do, I promise you, you won’t regret it.
