Whether we really acknowledge it or not, our work is influenced by others. CrossFit is no different. Each of the coaches at CrossFit West has different influences on on their perception of CrossFit. It is through our programming that we express that perception.
These influences are varied sources. Often it might be hard for a coach to accurately assess those influences, but they are always there. The next time a coach writes a WOD down on the board, ask him or her where that WOD came from. What were the influences behind the programming? What is the purpose of the the programming?
