Mobility is one of the central ingredients to both efficiency and longevity of movement. Fluidity, flexibility, mobility, stretchy, bendy-ness, whatever you want to call it, it is key, absolutely key, to good movement and a healthy and fit body. Some movements, the snatch for example, are more expressions of mobility, technique, and positioning, than they are of strength. Unfortunately, mobility is not something gained overnight. It takes the same kind of dedication and persistence as strength training. And is just about as important. Spend some time on your mobility. Techniques like foam and ball rolling are great and indispensable , but nothing beats just plain old fashioned stretching.
