WOD 12.2 was awesome!!  Again, I feel it was brilliant programming and a perfect compliment to WOD 12.1!  What was even more awesome than WOD 12.2 was the level of camaraderie and support in the box while the CrossFit West Community all rallied together do take on the task at hand, Snatches!!

As you may recall, the outstanding work from everyone at CrossFit West put us ranked as tied for 71’st in the world out of 1,794 teams entered and tied for 6’th in NorCal out of 104 teams after WOD 12.1.

Well, after WOD 12.2, your efforts have catapulted CrossFit West to being tied for 36th in the world and moved us into 5th overall in NorCal!!  It’s not just your hard work that has allowed for this to happen, but your incredible commitment and support of this community and of your fellow CrossFit athletes who are all challenging themselves right along side you while taking on the challenges of The Open.  YOU are why CrossFit West and all of our athletes are doing so well in The Open WOD’s and in the local and world rankings!

Looking forward to seeing where we end up in the rankings after WOD 12.3, (a longer triplet, as I suspected it would be), is done and in the books!  🙂

WORKOUT:

Strength/Skill: “Death by HandStand-PushUp”

On a minute interval timer; 1 HSPU the first minute, 2 the second, 3 the third, etc, until you can no longer keep the count.  Scale as needed.

Then;

Partner WOD (AMRAP Style);

5 minutes for max reps of 30 Yard Prowler Push

5 minutes for max reps of Rope Climbs

5 minutes for max reps of Wall Balls (20/14)

Prowler weight is a 45 and 25 on each side for men, and a 45 on each side for women.

Only one person working at a time for each team.
