Paleo Challenge Retesting NOW!

It’s a busy time at CrossFit West these days!  We’re right in the middle of the Open, with so many people competing, cheering, counting and supporting!  If you haven’t experienced it yet, Open Gym is practically one big party these days with so many people, heats, and lots of time to hang out.

In the middle of all of this, we are also finishing the Paleo Challenge.  If you haven’t talked to one of the participants yet, you have to hear how things are going!  We are seeing so many people meet their goals, improve their health, and now surprise themselves with some impressive PR’s.  Just tonight Lindsay Barbic PR’d by 35 lbs on her clean, Pete J. is PRing on everything, Dave P. broke through a long-time sticking point and met his power clean goal, and this was just from one night!

If you are participating the in the challenge, remember to get all of your testing and your testimonial in right away.  We need this all done this week.

Workout:

OTM for 8 minutes

3 muscle ups

*If new to muscle ups, cut down reps to 1 or 2 per minute

*Scaling option: perform 3 chest to bar pullups and 3 ring dips per minute

Then:

Every 30 seconds for 10 minutes:

1 Power Clean + 1 Hang Power Clean + 1 Push Jerk (225/150)

*Your score is the weight on the bar when you finish (seeing as you may need to take off weight if you fail).

Finisher:

500m Row for time.
