Tomorrow We got some Tall Snatches for our lift portion of class. Lot of you probably have this look on your face:
What is the tall snatch:
A snatch variation, focusing on pulling yourself under the ball quickly without dipping! Start with the bar in your snatch grip, and feet under your hips. Stand tall (get it), then quickly pull the elbow up high, punch the bar at the same time moving your feet to the receiving position. Don’t you dip. You will want to, you gotta fight the urge, like a kid with nut allergies and the only thing in the house is peanut butter jelly sandwiches. Focus on speed. Focus on an aggressive punch as you land in your receiving position.
