CrossFit West Santa Cruz is very happy to announce the UCSC CrossFit Club. CFWSC is hosting a CrossFit club at UCSC every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We meet at the pullup bars by the East Field track from 2 to 3.
The club is led by CFWSC trainers and is open to all UCSC students as well as any staff and communty members who want to join. We have been bringing some equipment, such as kettlebells, plyo boxes, dumbells, and med balls, and, even though this is only the first week, the reception been great.
The club follows a typical CrossFit class with a warmup, skill work, and then the WOD. The East Field at UCSC offers many great workout opportunities, such as pullup bars, parallettes, an 800m track, sand pit, and a couple brutal hills for sprints. We all can look forward to some intense workouts. Please join us.

Increase the push press, pullup, and dip weight each round. Use a kettlebell heavier than your Helen weight. If you can’t do weighted ring dips, do ring dips. If you can’t do ring dips, do ring pushups, and so on. The same goes for the pullups.
While this WOD is timed, try to go heavier than faster. But, as always, no dawdling.
