Weightlifting Seminar w/ Pat Mendes

Well folks, we told you to “hold on to your socks” a few days ago… and here it is: December 10, 2011 – 9am-4pm at CrossFit West Santa Cruz: Olympic Weightlifting Instructional Seminar with none other than USAW National Champion Pat Mendes! Pat was the gold medal winner at USA Weightlifting’s Nationals back in July in the 105+ category effectively making him the “Strongest Man in America” (and just to clarify, Pat didn’t eek this one out – his combined total was a whopping 21 kilos ahead of the 2nd place finisher). It is a rare opportunity in any sport to get the chance to train with and learn from a national champion – don’t miss this one.

This seminar will be a very special day and will not only include an impressive demo by Pat (ever seen an 800 lb squat?), but will be a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity for athletes and coaches alike to get instruction from some of the best lifters in the country.  Coaches for the day will be:
