Yes and No for the Whole 30 By Karnivore Kayla

Now, this is not my evil way of giving certain foods a bad rap. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…attempting to convince me, or better yet convince yourself, that wine comes from grapes which are fruit and fruit is beneficial to your health, is not going to change where ‘wine’ falls on the chart. “NO” is so loud and obnoxious, and you may be wondering why some of these things are on the side of the list. These foods can be triggers for inflammation and can lead to a variety of gut irritabilities, which in turn can wreck havoc on your immune system, metabolism and even your skin. Taking a look at the “YES” side of the list, are the highest of quality of choices of each category. Obviously there are tons more vegetables and meats, so make it easy on yourself, if it’s in the produce section or it once had eyes, it’s a “YES”. I understand that not everyone bears all the riches in the world, so don’t stress yourself out buying organic everything, or grass-fed everything. Do the best you can with what you can afford. My advice is read labels–not nutrition facts. And if you are finding that you’ve been reading for too long, there is no negotiating whether it’s a “YES” or “NO”, because it’s probably a “NO”.
